Emmy Winners 2012 (+ photos show)

Each year, the Emmy Awards are a highlight of the fall season of the entertainment industry, and on Sunday afternoon (September 23) the ceremony definitely did not disappoint.

With Jimmy Kimmel on driving, the 64th edition of the Emmy, had plenty of memorable moments and appearances, with a group of trophies were handed out.

As for the big winners, "Homeland" won the trophy for Outstanding Drama Series beating the four-time winner "Mad Men", while "Modern Family" picked up his third consecutive award for Best Comedy Series.

As for individual triumphs, the co-star of "Homeland" Claire Danes and Damien Lewis won the categories of Best Actress and Best Actor in a Drama Series, respectively, while fellow "Modern Family" Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen categories won Best Actor and Actress in a Comedy Series.
